The Long Night of the White Chickens

Set in Guatemala in the 1980s, this is the story of Roger Graetz, raised in Boston by his aristocratic Guatemalan mother, and of his relationship with Flor, the beautiful Guatemalan orphan who is the family's maid. When Flor is murdered, Roger returns to recover the truth about her death.
