When I Was a Girl, I Used to Scream and Shout...With When We Were Women and the Brave

A collection of three plays which also includes "When We Were Women" and "The Brave". The plays deal with individual experiences - mainly female - in the context of Scottish life and culture. A theme that runs through them is the difficulty of escaping from cultural conditioning.
