Kaia's aunt is moving-and she's giving her four-year-old basset hound, Fred, to Kaia. Kaia's thrilled! She remembers playing with Fred when he was a puppy. But when Fred arrives, he's big. Real big! He doesn't like to play fetch, like Brighton. He doesn't roll and tumble, like Lucky. He doesn't fit in Kaia's book bag, like Coco. He just looks at her with his droopy eyes and barks like a foghorn.
