Character and Health: Cultivating Well Being

The purpose of Character and Health is to offer a different angle of vision of the inherent professional responsibilities in health education. This is not a "how to do it" skill book that addresses specific health strategies. This book is designed as a supplement to the biobehavioral health content found in other texts. Instead of addressing specific health behaviors, this book aspires to cultivate the influence that character development has on health behavior in a manner that preservice educators and health care professionals can continually reflect upon.
