Coglab Student Manual, 2001-2002 Version
Description:
CogLab is an interactive online laboratory where students can run demonstrations of 32 classical experiments and concepts from cognitive psychology. Developed by Greg Francis and Ian Neath at Purdue University, CogLab lets the instructor set up an online class group to track the results of students' experiences with each of the 32 interactive cognitive demonstrations. The class is then able to collect and analyze real data based on their specific class group. This hands-on experience will help students understand each experiment, its underlying cognitive concepts, the data, and the significance of the study. The STUDENT MANUAL contains material on 22 of the experiments, while the information on the latest experiments will be available only on the Web site (in a folder marked "New Experiments"). This printed STUDENT MANUAL also contains the pincode that students need in order to access CogLab. (Instructors receive access information from their sales representative when they adopt the STUDENT MANUAL.)
