It contains the latest scholarship on each issue. Four articles were commissioned for this work..The same general format of the first edition has been kept: general introductions followed by individual classic and contemporary readings has been continued. The basic topics are treated: Traditional Arguments for the Existence of God, the Argument from Religious Experience, the Problem of Evil, the Attributes of god, miracles and Revelation, Death and immortality, Faith and Reason, and Religion and Ethics. To these eight topics a ninth, Religious Pluralism, has been added.
