Personality

Personality is organized to demonstrate the relationship between theories of personality and current personality research. Each of the six "approaches" to personality is divided into two chapters, one dealing with theory, application, and assessment and the other with relevant research. The topics covered in the research chapter stem directly from the theories covered in the preceding chapter. Several research examples, some in detail, show how research programs develop. The author includes seminal studies as well as recent examples of the latest issues and applications of the topic. This book should be of interest to undergraduate personality courses.
