Britannia Revisited

The photographs in this book have been selected to portray life in Britain during one of the most remarkable periods of her history. Many of the photographs are famous taken from such collections as William Grundy's English Views, the Downey collection of court photopraphs and the London Stereoscopic collection. We see a nation in many guises, of which some will still be familiar to us, while others will be surprising and remind us just how much times have changed.
