50 Years of American Automobile

The "50 years" is from 1930 to 1989. Color photos, and a good many b&w, have been included here with a lavish hand (we wish the Yugoslav printers had been more competent the illustrations are mediocre). The "Auto Editors of Consumer Guide " have provided good, brief histories of the cars. These range from the born-a-half-century-too-soon Bantam & Willys through the still-shocking horrors of the prodigal 50s and 60s to the legislated reason of the more efficient, less vulgar 80s.
