Modelling Cognition

Presents major discussions of current issues in modelling human cognition along with examples of such models. This book provides an overview of problems and advances in an area that has become increasingly important in recent years and which is attracting further interest as cognitive science becomes an established approach linking psychology, philosophy, artificial intelligence, and linguistics. Special attention is given to models that cope with novelty and the evidence of the value of computational models.
