This volume comprises papers, each of which has been rewritten and updated to reflect the very latest knowledge, which were contributed to the Special Issue of the International Journal of Energy Research published in 1985. The contributors, all distinguished international figures in the field, review the progress made in all areas of geothermal energy over the past decade.
