College Algebra

A revised, easy-to-read text treating the standard topics of college algebra, complete with a large number of clear and complete examples and exercises. The main goal is to teach students how to handle the tools of algebra such as solving equations and manipulating symbols. With an emphasis on skills and applications, it is designed for students preparing for calculus, business mathematics, or statistics, or as a terminal course for students in liberal arts. Answers are given to most of the odd-numbered exercises from each section and to nearly all of the review exercises.
