Progress in Community Child Health

Progress in Community Child Health is a new series reviewing important developments of interest to community health professionals.
The series aims to focus on community-based approaches to child health and will provide up-to-date key points for clinical practice.
Topics to be covered include: social paediatrics, health promotion, disability, service management, child protection, public health, adoption and fostering, audiology and visual impairment, pre-school surveillance, health/education medicine, special education needs, epidemiology and the interface between the community and general paediatrics (infectious diseases, genetics, neurology, psychiatry etc.).
In this way the series should give a valuable theoretical backdrop for those professionals working to improve and develop community child health.
