This book aims to provide GPs with a short, concise and comprehensive guide which gives a digest and overview of the disease, its clinical course and management. The format should be suited to responding to patients' questions. It also gives addresses and information on voluntary and statutory organizations helping people infected by HIV. It should also be useful to junior trainees in GUM and STD, medical students, nurses, other professional groups and the general public.
