Perhaps this book should have been called "Hitler's Hitler" for, in contrast to the countless publications that have been devoted to Hitler, National Socialism, the Nazi Party and the Third Reich--there are more than 100,000 dealings with the Second World War alone--it does not try to interpret Hitler but lets him speak for himself.
