Sheryl’s marriage to Alun has always been in turmoil until finally, poverty forces her to leave their daughter with his parents. Now 12, Caitlin runs away back to Cardiff in search of her mother. Sheryl is distraught, and as the police continue searching for Caitlin, she fears she will never see her beloved daughter again.
