People on the Move : Nomads and Travellers

When we talk about `people on the move' we usually mean migrants. They are people who move once, from one place to another, and then settle down again. They may be pushed from their home by war or persecution, drought or flood, or by poverty. The pull may be the hope of safety or the promise of prosperity. But this book is about people who never stop moving. Their way of life is nomadic.
