Change in Tourism: People, Places, Processes

This collection explores the theme of change in tourism. Key issues stemming from political change, the effects of new forms of technology, new forms of tourism such as eco-tourism and changes in traditional forms of tourism are looked at in detail. Contributors also look at resource constraints and approaches to planning for tourism in the future. Drawn from the work of the International Academy for the Study of Tourism, this volume is international and multidisciplinary in approach, and it offers a variety of viewpoints on important aspects of change in tourism.
