This book focuses on improving the social and intimacy skills of survivors of traumatic brain injury (TBI). Early chapters identify and discuss problems relating to sexuality for TBI survivors. Professional and survivor perceptions of TBI and its physical and medical aspects are also examined. Later chapters describe a framework for a sexual intervention program consisting of small group therapy, individual and couples counseling, and surrogate therapy. Aloni is a sex therapist.
