Childhood and Society

Childhood is the time we first become members of Society. Erikson wrote about how we enter each stage of life, encounter natural conflicts in aging and, hopefully, resolve those conflicts and enter on into the next stage in life. Our problems, both psychotic and neurotic, arise from our inability to resolve those conflicts.
