Dana Some Versions of Silence (Paper)

Denise Levertov writes of these poems; "These are poems of the inner life, or transfermatios effected in silence, a silence in which, note by note, a flute begins to play. They are introspective without being abstract: "Robert Dana has not turned away from the external world, he has brought its consecrations, "the unpurged images of a day", over a threshold onto an interior landscape".
