The bottom line

Annually, thousands of business people leave their homes, their children and wives, their friends and secretaries. They leave to join their compadres in a far off place of commune which is called "the convention," the purpose of which is to discuss the "bottom line." This is a novel about one such convention and a man who found there's also a bottom line in private lives.
