SYNOPSIS: "In 1892, twenty-one year-old Arnie Smith enjoyed his life as a cowhand despite the panic on Wall Street as hard times had fallen upon the land. He receives an unexpected letter informing Arnie that his uncle had died and left him a thriving country store in Texas. But he soon discovered that the dull routine of figures and books, stifling Texas country, grim sodbusters, and vicious scavengers was no fun. In fact, he found out it could be downright dangerous in hard times."
