The strategy of political revolution

The term "revolution" has recently been used to refer to change in everything from fashion to governments. This book deals only with political revolution, redefined in the author's terms, further elaborated through his new typology, and carefully examined from conceptual and empirical points of view. Mostafa Rejai deals with fundamental questions about political revolution: what it is and how it differs from coup d'etat, riot, rebellion, etc.; what are the necessary components; what is a revolutionary strategy, and how, when, and by whom it is employed.
