The story was absolutely riveting and I couldn't put it down until I had read it cover to cover. The premise of the split vampire was brilliant and actually made a lot of sense. Raven, who was utterly amoral and clinging to a slim hope based solely on what he remembered about being human was the ultimate sympathetic hero. Johnny, the incorporeal shade of Raven, was everything good and sweet, but as a stand alone hero would not have made the grade. Combine the two and hello, you have got perfection...Lynn Michaels is an author I would definitely like to hear more from especially in this genre.
