Fast Forward Writing Level 5 to Level 6

"Fast Forward Writing: Level 5 to Level 6" is designed to secure the writing skills of pupils at Level 5 and develop them into Level 6. The focus is exclusively on writing. It is unique in tackling the hardest elements of writing: how meanings are shaped into sentences and paragraphs, and how style and control are achieved. "Fast Forward Writing: Level 5 to Level 6" can be used as five mini-schemes of work on writing for a whole class, or as a series of weekly master classes. Each masterclass is linked to specific objectives for each year and a Key Stage 3 Strategy-compatible medium-term plan is provided. There are also pages of advice for parents, teachers and pupils.
