German Extra!

This volume is designed for German learners who wish to build and develop previous knowledge, gained at school, through evening classes or self-learning. It takes the learner beyond the everyday transactional German of their beginner's course, widening their contextual range and variety of language knowledge. The emphasis is on using German more actively and fluently, including the opportunity to further grammar understanding - an area which can often be overlooked at this stage of language learning.
