Words of Life, May-August 2001: Who Are You, Lord, and Who Am I?

St Francis of Assisi is said to have spent whole nights in prayer, asking two questions: 'Who are you, Lord, and who am I?' This edition of WORDS OF LIFE grapples with these two life questions.

The apostle John brings both questions together in his letter. He writes to believers, 'God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us' (1 John 4:16).
