Voila 1: Student's Book

This text presents a French language course for adult beginners, or those who learned French some years ago. It aims to provide all the opportunities needed to speak and understand French with confidence. To aid the learner, all of the activities are based on real situations, authentic material such as menus, advertisements and brochures are used, pair and group activities allow learners to practise speaking in French with other people, and each unit includes "infoFrance" sections which provide practical and cultural information on French life. Grammar and vocabulary summaries and exercises are also included, along with review sections to help readers keep track of what they are learning. The structure of the text is equally suitable for both group and individual study and covers the skills, structures and topics required for NVQ level 1.
