Design and technology has come to occupy a much enhanced position in the school curriculum in recent years. This book explores how the subject has changed, how it needs to be taught and how it is likely to develop in the next few years. It also looks at the subject in the broad context of the curriculum and society, and examines issues concerning gender and race that are related to its teaching.
