Transport Policy in Britain (Public Policy and Politics)

Transport is high on the political agenda as Labour in office attempts to redefine transport policy to meet environmental and social goals. This work explains who takes the decisions, how the organizations inside and outside government work, and the planning and financial frameworks within which politicians, officials and interest groups operate. This work is intended for undergraduate and postgraduate students of public policy, for those studying transport in degrees in economics, geography, planning, environmental studies and so on, and for professional students (Chartered Institute of Transport, Civil Engineering, etc).
