Every Brilliant Eye (Amos Walker, Book 6)

Amos Walker, Estleman's seasoned private eye, gets emotionally involved in a case for the first time. His good friend and Vietnam buddy Barry Stackpole is a news columnist who is subpoenaed by a grand jury and fails to appear. His employer is being fined $1000 each day that he does not show. Also, a sultry book editor is looking for Stackpole and a manuscript that he has supposedly written.
