Great Golf Stories

This collection contains stories about golf. It includes E.C. Bentley's detective story, "The Sweet Shot", as well as stories by P.G. Wodehouse and Stephen Leacock. Also featured is a tale by A.G. Macdonell taken from "England Their England", and one from George Macdonald Fraser who looks into how golf identifies human, and normally male, foibles. There are also tales from writers who might not be expected to write about golf, such as "Sapper", the creator of Bulldog Drummond, and A.A. Milne. Other contributors are Van Loan, John Updike, J.M. Barrie, A.P. Herbert, Emil Pacholek, Robin Jenkins, Fred Urquhart, and Van Tassel Surphen.
