It remains a story of courage and fortitude. Here is another place, another time, 6 weeks in 1944, in the mountain fortress of the Vercors. Here, 4,000 French partisans fought a courageous battle against 20,000 German troops, artillery, tanks, and aircraft. Very well written; extremely well done.
