Henke's California Law Guide

A soft-cover single volume, this book is the definitive source for doing legal research in California. The author is the director of the Pepperdine School of Law and a law professor. His work is a continuation of professor emeritus Henke from Hastings School of Law in Berkeley. It covers the complete spectrum of constitutional, statutory, judicial, and regulatory law in California. The new edition includes a very detailed analysis of ballot measures, which is a very active source of law in the state.
