Based on the hotly contested television industry, the Global Business Game is an adventure in strategic management and international business. Students take over management of a television manufacturer that is now under attack from many competitors and confronting consumer demands for higher quality levels and features. They must make marketing, financial and production decisions that affect among other things: the perceived quality of goods, shareholder value, and bottom-line profits. As students decide whether or not to enter new markets or develop new products, they have the option of conducting various market research studies.
