Children of Their Time

This book is the final chapter in the story of the Jochum and Kraus families which started just before the First World War in Hotel Quadriga, continued throughout the Second World War in Viktoria and this novel ends with the dismantling of the Berlin Wall. Each book stands on its own but I read all three one after another and couldn't put them down. Jenny Glanfield draws you into the story from book one. Children of Their Time brings all the loose ends to conclusion and paints a picture of life in Berlin after the Second World War and during the Cold War period of the 50's and 60's - an excellent read.
