While the Music Lasts

Suzanne Goodwin is a past winner of the Romantic Novelists Award. The four Bryant girls inherit an enormous amount of money, but then the Wall Street crash of 1929 reverses their fortunes yet again. Only Claire stays rich; Viv, Julie and Isobel lose every penny. The sisters become bitterly divided, and only when Viv's estranged husband abducts his son do the girls reunite in a desperate effort to get him back.
