Nafta: Problem-Oriented Coursebook, 2000 Documents Supplement

This problem-oriented coursebook is designed to introduce law students to a representative range of hypothetical problems involving NAFTA. After providing some background material, the authors present two separate chapters on trade in goods & trade in services. Subsequent chapters cover issues of investment law, intellectual property law, dispute resolution, & "side agreements." Finally, the authors look beyond NAFTA to the future of the proposed Free Trade Area of the Americas, problems with Chile's "fast track" accession to NAFTA, & the lingering question of Quebec's status under NAFTA should it secede from Canada.
