Who's Who in Bloomsbury

From Library Journal Members of the Bloomsbury Group established a formidable cultural and intellectual force in Britain during the 1920s and 1930s. Notable among their number were Virginia Woolf, Lytton Strachey, Clive Bell, and John Maynard Keynes. The Palmers provide biographical information on these and many others, some of whom dwelt only on the fringe of the Group. For instance, a brief entry is included for Henry James. Some entries are accompanied by references to full-length biographies. As a profile of the participants in and observers of a significant movement, the book succeeds.
