Helen Young has spoken to women's groups nationwide on time use, women's roles, and the Bible for the past forty years. She is the author of Children Won't Wait and Power of the Week. She teaches university and Bible classes, edits two periodicals (Power for Today and 21st Century Christian), and is on the board of Pepperdine University. She has served as "first lady" to husband Norvel Young, past President and Chancellor of Pepperdine University. She is the mother of four and grandmother often.

Billie Silvey is the working mother of two. She is the author of the very popular God Has... series for Bible classes. Until recently, she served as the associate editor of 21st Century Christian magazine. She, too, teaches Bible classes.
