Eutrophication: Causes, consequences, correctives; proceedings of a symposium

The symposium was held at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, June 11-15, 1967, under the sponsorship of the National Academy of Sciences - National Research Council, the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, the U.S. Department of the Interior, the National Science Foundation, and the Office of Naval Research, U.S. Department of the Navy. Almost 600 persons representing 11 countries attended. It is hoped that these proceedings with serve as a useful reference on eutrophication, both for scientists and for persons responsible for managing water resources.
