Crowning the Year - Autumn in Christian liturgy and devotion

Although not normally considered to be a liturgical season, autumn does have a degree of unity in religious and secular terms. These reflections for use from September to November explore, among other things, the idea of times and seasons, angels, All Saint's Day and the different kinds of saints, the glorious company of the Apostles, the Christian commemoration of the war dead, and the kingship of Christ over all things.
