Party Organizations in American Politics (Praeger Special Studies in American Political Parties and Elections)

Political scientists tend to assume that the party organizations at the state and local levels are in decline and possibly on the verge of extinction. In this study, the authors conclude that the parties as organizaitons are in good shape today, and stronger than they were twenty years ago.
