Minotaur: Sir Arthur Evans and the Archaelogy of the Minoan Myth

In this text, the author argues that the celebrated archaeologist, Sir Arthur Evans, who at the turn of the century claimed to have discovered the labyrinth which housed the Minotaur, was in fact a fabulist. MacGillivray uses Evans's own papers as evidence for his exposee.
