Sweden : Social Democracy in Practice

Describing the theoretical underpinnings of Sweden's social democratic society and the historical factors which influenced the development of the Swedish system, this study portrays social democracy as a highly successful, functioning social system whose principles of economic well-being, fair remuneration for work, social solidarity, democracy, participation, access to information, and respect for the environment correspond to the way its members choose to act and live.
