This is the first edition of the collected works of the early modern poet and translator Sir Richard Fanshawe (1608-66), and includes the translations of works by Boethius, Martial, and Horace for which he is best-known. Much of the material in this edition appears in print for the first time. Original spelling and punctuation are maintained throughout.
