Human Development Report 1992

This report examines the international dimensions of human development. At the centre of its analysis is the question of how global economic growth and the expansion of the world economy have filtered down to poor economies and the people of developing countries. The book examines the links between human development and the functioning of the international markets for products, capital and labour. It also addresses issues of global governance and presents updated indicators on human development for more than 160 countries.
