Writing for Canadian Health Professionals

Writing for Canadian Health Professional is the first of its kind in terms of student accessibility and Canadian content. It has been designed by writing instructors to help students in college and university health sciences programs – primarily nursing, but also associated professional programs like pharmacy technician, occupational therapy, dentistry, and paramedics – as well as health professionals who wish to upgrade or review skills required to communicate effectively in writing. It covers both the whys and hows of professional writing, specific to the health care arena. Samples are provided of various forms of writing – reports, resumes, emails, chart summaries, etc. It also covers ethics and provides a glimpse into the code of ethics for several professional associations.
