Reading and Writing About Literature: Fiction, Poetry, Drama and the Essay

This book provides an introduction to writing and an introduction to the four major genres of literature - fiction, poetry, drama, and the essay. The purpose of this book id dual: to help students toward a greater understanding, and therefore enjoyment, of literature; and to instruct students in the writing process.
